Happy New Year everyone!! My first post for this year Mellow Yellow Monday and Blue Monday are the gifts that hubby gave me last Christmas. Okey it starts with me telling hubby not to buy me anything I don't want nothing (materially) so I didn't expect anything. After we came from Christmas Eve mass I saw gifts under the tree. I got booties, a book, an organizer but the big one is my WII wohoooo!! The next day, when I woke up I passed our lighted Christmas tree and I happened to see one gift hanging. I opened it and I saw an 8GB hmmm. Hubby watched me grinning...he told me to see at the back of the Christmas tree and I saw 2 gifts...I opened the first gift it's a bag for big camera...then I knew that I have a new camera!! I then opened the last gift and here it is my new Nikon D5000 I couldn't believe it was really a surprised. So here is my post for this weeks meme a little blue and a little yellow.

Here are some answers to your altered book questions. Some of this I posted in the comments section of my blog. You basically can choose any book you want and you don't have to do all the pages - just some. Some people also use the children's board books and sand them down and then cover the pages.

You can choose any book, but preferably one that has a sewn binding instead of a glued one - the glued ones fall apart.
You have to remove some of the pages to make room for the embellished ones. I just cut them out, leaving the edge still bound to the book. I also glue several pages together to make a stiffer, more substantial substrate.
I just use a glue stick to glue pages together. I'll be happy to answer any more questions you have anytime.
